Digital Art! What is it? It's many things actually. Art is not about a particular method used to produce it. Art is about the feeling, the visual style, and the message the artist is trying to convey. Digital art can be created using various tools outside of the traditional arts. Digital Photography is merely the medium by which the artist may choose to create art. Just the same as a computer is just a medium or tool by which the artist expresses themselves. Some artists choose traditional mediums such as oils and watercolors. Others are using pixels in today's art scene. When a digital artist, has mastered the tools and technologies, she/he travels beyond taking a digital photograph and creates art. A personal expression of vision. There are two main types of digital art.: digital painting and digital photography, each type is represented here. There are several subcategories and, of course, the artist can combine any and all to create a unique style.
